2023 NHSTF Varsity Letter Requirements
How do I earn my Varsity Letter?
Automatic letters are granted for the following:
_____ Any athlete that has run Track & Field for three years at Northville High School
_____ Place at Conference Meet in the Top 8 in any event
_____ Qualify for the state meet in an individual or relay event
_____ Regional participant
_____ Coaches Discretion
Athletes may also earn a varsity letter by accumulating 10 points in a season:
Athletes earn points for placing in a Varsity Event during a meet:
_____5 points for 1st place
_____3 points for 2nd place
_____1 point for 3rd place
_____(Relay points divided by 4)
**Student-athletes must also participate in at least one of our community service projects throughout the year to receive a JV or Varsity letter.
(Civic Concern Thanksgiving, Winter Holiday Adopt-A-Family, March is Reading Month, Arbor Day, April Can Food Drive, Armed Forces Event.)
